Pakistan:March in Lahore to celebrate the International Women Day 2010

Over 1500 women marched on the Mall, from Nasir Bagh to Punjab Assembly under the banner of World March of Women (WMW) to celebrate the International Women Day on Monday, March 08, 2010. Despite prevailing fear among Lahorites after early morning suicidal attack on FIA building in Model Town, thousands of women workers, including home-based workers, domestic workers, brick kiln and embellishment workers made their way to Nasir Bagh to observe the International Women Day.

United States: WMW participates in International Women's Celebration in New York.

Brazil: World March of Women has been on the road for a week

The walk between Campinas a São Paulo completes its first week. Two thousand militants debate this afternoon(15) the law on abortion.

Brazil:The World March of Women have completed ten days on the road

The two thousand women arrived in Osasco on Wednesday (17), on the tenth day of the 3rd International World March of Women Action in Brazil. They will arrive in São Paulo today(18) for the closure of the march in a public act on Charles Miller Square.

Brazil: 10 days march arrives to its final stop

Public action held in São Paulo on this 18th March welcome 2,000 women who have marched more than 100 km during 10 days from Campinas to Sao Paulo. The end of the march strengths the feminist struggle in the country and contributes to integrate different national social movements.
